The royal couple, Kate Middleton and Prince William landed in Dublin, Ireland on Tuesday for a three-day trip in the country. The couple are set to see parts of Dublin, Galway, Meath and Kildare as part of the trip.

The Duchess of Cambridge looked elegant on her floral-patterned metallic green chiffon dress with an elongated cuff and a high neckline along with a ruffled front, which she matched with a classy pair of emerald green shoes and a velvet black hairband for the hair accessory.

Keeping in theme with the Emerald isle, the Duke of Cambridge wore an emerald green tie with white spots to matched the outfit of his wife.

The royal couple meet the President of Ireland Michael Higgins and his wife, Sabina Higgins, at their official residence in Dublin, Áras an Uachtaráin.

Kensington Palace’s made a statement about the couple’s trip:

“Following Her Majesty, the Queen's historic visit in 2011, the visit will also focus on the relationship between the two countries and build on the theme of remembrance and reconciliation.”

The official visit will see the Duke and Duchess,

“Learn about local organizations working to support and empower young people and projects which provide opportunities to help them develop important life skills”.

The Kensington Palace added:

“The UK’s links with Ireland are extensive, and The Duke and Duchess are looking forward to building a lasting friendship with the Irish people.”

The couple began their tour in The Garden of Remembrance, where they paid their respects by bowing their head to those who gave their lives in the battles for Irish independence.

Later evening, Kate wore another green color of gown, made by designer The Vampire's Wife, she paired it with her trademark pointed-toe heels during their visit to the Guinness Storehouse in Dublin.

On their second day in Ireland, Kate is stunning in her light cream Olivia coat by Reiss, which she first wore on her 26th birthday in 2008, and matched with black trousers and small heeled boots.

They visit the Jigsaw National Youth Centre for Mental Health in Dublin, which provides support for young people aged 12 to 25 in Ireland.

After the visit, Dr Joseph Duffy, CEO of Jigsaw said:

“Today was all about shining on light for the need for an increased focus on youth mental health services and supports.

He added:

“It’s a reminder to us all that we can all be that One Good Adult in a young person’s life. Having exemplary role models such as Their Royal Highnesses, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge express this in such a genuine way is really encouraging for all of us at Jigsaw.”
