It's now confirmed! Short Stack are coming back for a reunion tour in July.

Shaun Diviney, Andy Clemmensen and Braddie Webb, last seen together in 2015, will play 'Sway, Sway Baby' and 'Planets' in front of their fans.

About the set of performances, lead singer Diviney said:

"I don't think we've ever been more excited for a tour. The early response has blown us away and we can't wait to see everyone in July!"

Short Stack will be hitting Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth in July.

Practice and memorize the lyrics of their songs while you have time! Here are their tour dates:

July 2 - Brisbane at The Triffid,

July 3 - Melbourne at 170 Russell

July 4 - Sydney at Metro Theatre

July 10 - Adelaide at The Gov

July 11- Perth at Astor Theatre

However, for Short Stackers in Melbourne under the age of 18, you'll not be able to attend as it's strictly adults only.

Many have been expecting a tour announcement after Frontier Touring, the company organizing the performances, placed a countdown on its website to today.

Eagle-eyed fans on social media also saw that the band's website is teasing a song called 'Sandy', which will drop in March.

Lead singer Shaun Diviney told the Daily Telegraph that he and band mates Andy, playing bass and backing vocals _ and Braddie, playing drums and keyboards, have been floored by all the comments.

"We didn't expect the response, that's for sure - it's humbling," Diviney said.

"It's really cool to be getting the band back together.

"We did LA for a bit and the UK but there's not much surf in London. We're a bunch of bogans at heart.

"When they got back together I was blown away. If we can do that for some people... I certainly know the feeling. We didn't anticipate we would get this big a response to something we created in a garage in Budgewoi."
